Blank ME, a leading cosmetics brand from Shanghai, China, distinguishes itself as a brand that possesses, advocates, and embodies the concept of "inward energy." With a vision to deepen its philosophy and set itself apart from other makeup brands, Blank ME aspires to bridge the gap further. The team, through extensive research and exploration, has defined a brand philosophy rooted in the aesthetics of Eastern beauty, known as "Blank me to Flow." This philosophy aims to enable individuals to see their ideal selves through the brand, creating a unique connection with each person.
從探討「當代女性&東方審美」出發
當所有的美妝品牌都在談論「美」的時候,BlankME團隊更希望能深入探索審美與當代女性之關係,進一步尋找出品牌重塑的切入點,究竟在亞洲,這個時代的女性在面對生命中多重複雜議題之時,品牌可以為消費者帶來什麼樣的全新觀點,進一步提供服務。
「Blank ME to Flow」讓此刻發生:再經過多次的研究收斂、消費者訪談,品牌將概念從東方留白哲學出發,以流動為設計概念,反映出女性不再只有溫柔美的篤定,更多的是生命堆疊的美感,看見自身的美。

In addressing these multifaceted issues in women's lives, BlankME aims to provide consumers with a fresh outlook and enhanced services.
"Blank ME to Flow" brings this moment to life: after numerous rounds of research and consumer interviews, the brand has derived its concept from the Eastern philosophy of blank spaces, using flow as a design principle. This reflects a departure from the traditional emphasis on gentle and defined beauty, instead embracing the aesthetic of life's accumulation, allowing women to see the beauty within themselves in a more holistic way.

從視覺標誌、系統到包裝設計、工業設計,品牌重塑的核心概念環繞於「篤定而流動」之語境之下,展現品牌對於當代女性審美之價值觀與高度。
品牌標誌的重塑選擇以單字B進行造型的調整,以穩重但優美之曲線重新塑造標誌氣質,有別與前一版的清新,展現更多面向底妝專業與穩重,同時以筆畫的留白呼應品牌價值、賦予想像空間。

From visual identity, systems, packaging design to industrial design, the core concept of brand reshaping revolves around the context of being "definite yet flowing," showcasing the brand's values and sophistication in contemporary female aesthetics.
The redesign of the brand logo has chosen to stylize the letter "B," using adjusted curves that exude a sense of steadiness combined with elegance. This reshaping departs from the previous version's freshness, embodying a more multifaceted approach that emphasizes both the professionalism of foundation makeup and a sense of stability. Simultaneously, the use of whitespace in the strokes of the logo aligns with the brand's values, providing room for imagination and creativity.
為品牌定義審美之角度
在品牌系統中團隊詳細定義色彩、字型之使用語境,並為人像、產品、妝容等攝影情境提取亮點,除了風格之定調外,同時為底妝、膚色、攝影的等等細節進行細部的規範,並以「角度」作為品牌攝影之指南,透過戲劇化的構圖表現與攝影手法,營造屬於BlankME的風格。

Beyond establishing a stylistic tone, the team has also provided detailed specifications for aspects such as foundation makeup, skin tones, and photography details. The concept of "angle" serves as a guiding principle for brand photography, encouraging the use of dramatic composition and photographic techniques to create a distinctive BlankME style.
